Right! The innocence, fragility and vulnerability of childhood is hampered as human beings grow and the idea that tears are a sign of weakness is the foundation that upholds all such things taken away. Anyways, I still want to say I might not do so in the funny ways you do yours. I especially love this article, you seem to have mastered the art of knowing how and why people conceal their feelings.

I love this so much. I used to be a crybaby too when I was younger and I'd listen to 'crybaby' by Melanie Martinez and just let the tears fall. As I've grown older, there's so much space between my cries. It's gotten harder to conjure the tears and let them fall and I miss that cleansing and cathartic feeling after having a good cry. This is a great reminder that vulnerability and softness aren't things we should let go of as we grow older. Rather, we should hold on tighter because that's where the true strength lies, in our softeness.
